ABOUT
Pacey’s Creek
Valen Shore and Alison Zatta met online while living in Scotland in their early 20s and have been writing together ever since. In that time they’ve been best friends, roommates, and business partners, but never lovers. They formed Pacey's Creek as a space to develop alternative entertainment, deconstruct the media that helped shape them, and put the elements back together in unexpected ways.
Valen and Alison’s first original musical Chriskirkpatrickmas: A Boy Band Christmas Musical had its Off-West End debut in 2023 after hugely successful Hollywood Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe runs. A parody musical about the rise and pause of (arguably) the world's greatest boy band, Chriskirkpatrickmas received 5-star reviews from The Guardian, Broadway World, and many others. This “gloriously inventive and hilarious” (Theatre Weekly) exploration of a certain indefinite “hiatus” mourned by Millennials worldwide features all-original music, a plethora of 90s nostalgia, and some truly impressive wigs. It’s also more historically accurate than you might expect. Mostly.
Valen and Alison are also co-creators and DMs of Real Housewives of Dungeons and Dragons, an actual play D&D podcast from Reality RPG, now in its third season.
